Light / Soil / Medium / Moisture
The essentials required by plants to grow are; light, soil, medium, and moisture. Grass is a living organism with specific requirements related to sports use. It must have the right diet (nutrition), exercise (maintenance) and look (aesthetics).

Day Length / Soil Nutrition / Water
The components, or nuts and bolts for germination, establishment and growing a healthy turf are, day length, soil nutrition and proper water amounts.

Nutrition starts with a program developed with yearly soil tests. An actively growing root zone determines the top plant structure’s ability to grow.
